Sports Mouthguards

Dr. Clanton and his dental team offer “custom-fitted mouthguards” as both a preventive and protective appliance for adults and children.  They are made of a soft, flexible acrylic (often customized with color) that provides for comfortable wear since fabricated from an actual impression (mold) of your teeth.  When “custom-fitted”, these mouthguards will be stable and comfortable to wear.  This also helps them to remain securely in place while being worn allowing for you to breathe and speak normally.

Wearing a mouthguard during athletic and sports related activities can greatly reduce the risk of traumatic dental injury and tooth loss.
