What to expect during your First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a review of your medical and dental history, a comprehensive oral examination, a series of x-rays along with intra-oral photography, and charting/documentation.  This means that first time visits are generally more lengthy in order for us to gather information needed to help in creating a treatment plan designed to aid you in achieving the best oral health possible.  Our office strives to have open, honest communication with our patients listening to their concerns and understanding their goals and desires in regard to their dental health needs.

What to bring to your appointment:

Please assist us by providing the following information at your first visit:

  • Any current x-rays taken by a previous dentist (see information below)
  • Complete list of any medications you are presently taking
  • Dental insurance information (this allows for more efficient processing of claims)
  • Completed registration forms (can be downloaded and printed or register online)

Important:

All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, prosthetic joint replacement, rheumatic fever, etc.).  Also, inform us if handicapped assistance is needed.
